Victoria University Engineering

A Vibrant Industrial Learning Space

The project provided a modernisation and uplift to the Engineering Laboratory with the existing building shell retained and the interior completely reworked to provide a vibrant and interesting environment.

The Central Hall’s industrial aesthetic was reinforced with a dramatic choice of colours, finishes and light fittings. Adjacent specialised rooms with specific technical requirements were also improved to enhance the learning experience.

Delivered within a tight program to meet the University’s timetable, KATZ Architecture provided a full service including management of the building contract as superintendent.
