Rejuvenated Central Courtyard Hub

“Realizing the potential of places for learning, connection and activity”

The School received funding as part of the School Pride Program to address external play areas in need of rejuvenation and improvement.

Following discussions with the School, the courtyard was identified as a ‘lost opportunity’ and will be transformed from a transitory space to a usable play area and external teaching environment where students and parents are encouraged to congregate.

This is achieved through the introduction of coloured synthetic turf, raised timber platform surrounds two trees utilising durable and low-maintenance solutions.

The project also includes upgrades to the asphalt playground and basketball court.
