The new building connects 2 existing buildings to form a united children’s early learning centre.

The new façade infill provides a modern uplift to the entire facility and reinforces the centres security with a centralised main entrance.

The centre provides for all levels of early learning including a children’s room for 22, kindergarten for 33 and 3 child care rooms accommodating 33 children each.

The new building infill creates a courtyard focus for the child care rooms, with each space opening onto the interactive and flexible outdoor learning and play space.

Established trees on site have been considered and integrated into the design solution, providing a well advanced and attractive vegetation around the building.

The building applies BESS Scorecard principles to achieve in excess of 70%. Many features are visible, with passive features providing minimal energy usage and maximum thermal comfort.
